Determine How to Conduct the Interview

Posted March 28th, 2011 by admin

It is usually preferable to conduct an interview face to face, but sometimes that is not practical. Telephone interviews can be used to verify information, acquire a brief quotation, or discover a person’s opinion. You can also interview a person via email on the Internet. When preparing a speech on the effects of a recent NCAA regulation on college athletics, one University of Memphis student phoned the athletic directors at her own school and the Universities of Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas for their opinions. All of these officials were willing to talk with her, and she was able to quote them in her speech. That material definitely enhanced her credibility on the subject.
